These paintings are offered to you direct from the artist, Judy F. Hilbish. All are acrylic used in the style of watercolors. Although this causes some challenges it creates a more secure image. Where noted, some are varnished and can be displayed without glass or plexiglass. Most are from scenes around ghost towns and mining towns and portrait the effects of aging and patination. It is this patina that is most challenging and satisfying to paint. If you choose,except where noted, you may have these paintings framed in old (authentic, not reproduction) barn wood with matt and plexiglass by the artist. These frame are sturdy and professional quality. Each is as unique as the board and weather made them. The large paintings are best shipped as they come from the easel, since shipping cost are excessive. The supply of barn wood is limited so these frames are only sold with these paintings, sorry.
